Rail Heads
Rail heads are an integral part of the track circuit and are installed alongside the track.
Their primary function is to supply power to the insulated track section and transmit the signal back to the relay room, enabling reliable track occupancy detection.
Thanks to their robust construction and precise manufacturing, they ensure stable system operation even under demanding railway infrastructure conditions.
Variants for electrified railway lines:
- Single and double feed rail heads
- Single and double relay rail heads
- Special feed and relay versions
Track Choke
The track choke is used on electrified railway lines to separate the traction return current from the track circuit current.
It enables:
✔ Galvanic continuity of the traction return current
✔ Stable supply of the insulated track section
✔ Prevention of interference transfer between sections
The choke is installed alongside the rail in a protective concrete housing and is designed for long-term and reliable operation.
Main characteristics:
- Nominal voltage: 1 V
- Frequency: 83 1/3 Hz
- Weight: 65 kg
