The GFSU-700-M point machine is designed for switching a railway turnout from one position to another, while ensuring reliable locking and secure holding of the switch rail (switch tongue) in the end position.

In case of malfunction or irregular operation, the status of the turnout is indicated on the control panel in the station control room.

The turnout equipment ensures secure fastening, connection, and transmission between the point machine and the turnout mechanism.

Derailer Type IS

The IS type derailer is used to prevent unintended entry of rail vehicles from a siding onto the main track or to stop unauthorized movement.

It is made of a robust steel structure shaped as an inclined rib with a mounting base.

The inclined surface is installed above the rail and, when a vehicle approaches, forces the wheel off the track, thereby preventing greater damage that could occur due to incorrect routing of the vehicle.

Variants

  • IS-L (left)
  • IS-D (right)

The derailer can be:

  • Manually operated
  • Operated via a turnout point machine adapted for its drive.
